To pull of something as awesome as what Kim pulled off last night, is nothing short of miraculous. Being married, (and I’m sure all of you married folk can attest), trying to get everything planned without me knowing must have been very difficult. With the kids away (minus Jack), we were in for a night of well deserved adult time. This has got to be one of the best birthday parties I’ve had in a very long time.
As you can see in the picture, Jack helped me open up my birthday present. We ended up rockin the night away until close to 1:30 in the morning.
We had the drums, vocals, and TWO guitars. Thanks to our good friends Will and Carrie, we were able to get some lead guitar/bass action going on.
I also have to mention all of our friends who attended:
Mark and Karen, who somehow managed to buy a new truck in this whole mess AND fit the party in their schedule.
Tim and Hillary, who cooked and were VERY flexible (I heard the plans changed a few times?)
Will and Carrie, who contributed an extra guitar, and some VERY good corn bread side
Adam and Michelle, who helped me pass one of the Rock Band track packs the first night I had it!
Shaun and Stephanie who brought their smiles and awesome vocals.
The night is definitely going to be one to remember, I heard a rumor that there is a video of some of the awesomeness that went down. Actually, I saw the video but couldn’t figure out how to post it here. Thanks Kim, for an awesome birthday party, and thank you friends, for sharing in my celebration of my 32nd birthday!!!
