I really can’t believe I haven’t written about our family nights for over a year.
That’s not to say we haven’t had any, because every Friday night we still alternate who gets to plan the evening’s events, with a $10 (sometimes $20) budget. Last night was no different, and Kim got to host it.
It went something like this:
- Bonfire in the backyard
- Taco bell ($14)
- The beginning of S’mores outside, only to be brought inside because there was no wind to take the smoke away.
- S’mores now on our gas stove. Ghetto? No, resourceful!
- Headed to the Park, with lots of walking, laughing and most important – memories
- Last, we headed home, took showers, ate popcorn & candy while watching Wreck it Ralph to conclude. ($3.99 on Amazon Prime via Xbox).
Nothing spectacular, nothing fancy.
Just doing family on purpose.

Sounded fun. We watched Wreck it Ralph this past week as a family and really enjoyed it.
Good times 🙂
Family Night + Wreck it Ralph + Nunes’ = AWESOMENESS!!! 🙂
