Prayer for an Epic Weekend

He is Mighty to Save

As we prepare for an epic weekend doing Walking Wisely Weekend with Transit at North Point Community church, I wanted to do something that I thought was pretty neat. Please join me.

I got this idea from @caseygraham, earlier today he tweeted this:

Now although I don’t have nearly as many as he does, I still have 10 awesome 6th grade boys who will definitely need prayer. Please send a DM to @Bensayin (that’s me!), and I’ll give you a name.

I love you all, and as we go into this weekend please pray for our host house parents, and all of the drivers.

From the bottom of my heart, and for His Kingdom.

We thank you.

  1. Count me in. Heading to Twitter!

  2. Ahh missed this … just checked my Reader this morning. I was following your #WWW11 over the weekend – hope you had a great weekend (checking out your next post now… :))

    • Oh man it was crazy, and amazing how well organized the entire weekend was. It’s funny because the #WWW11 tag was incorporated halfway through the Friday night service, but once people caught on, it worked real well. We all agreed that the next even we should have a more deliberate approach to twitter, because the parents also loved following that tag.

  3. Dude, this just hit reader. Glad it was epic though.

  4. Dude! That is an awesome idea!
I’m totally in. Off to DM you via Twitter.

Btw, I’m gonna steal this idea. 🙂

    • Now that I think about it, I should have left the DM requests on twitter, and then if anybody wanted a name they could just have commented and I could have emailed them. Ah well, hindsight…
