North Point Community Church's Partner Church in Venezuela "Good News Church"

In our 1st meeting with our team of 18 17, I’m confident God has placed Kim and I amongst a most wonderful, and perfect team. As we journey along together and as these meetings progress, we’ll let you all journey with us as we get to know each and every individual and their role on our team.

As Kim and I are preparing for our 2nd trip together in Short Term World Missions (my 4th overall), we are now needing to start raising money for our trip. I am inviting everybody who reads this, family and friends alike, to partner with us. If you are looking for an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself, this is it.

Your opportunity to give.

Every year I have needed to raise a certain amount, and you all have blessed me well beyond our needs, giving us the opportunity to, in turn, go above and beyond what our original mission was to accomplish with the partner church. I expect this year to be no different.

To put things in perspective, each member needs to raise at least $2,900 making it a total of $49,300. If you do the math, $5,800 is what Kim and I are responsible for, which includes airfare and the materials needed to renovate and improve the home for the troubled boys which are the ages of 7 to 16. Not only that, but as well as encouraging their leaders, as they have the most difficult task of being a positive role model, and to help change the course of the boys lives.

If you would like the opportunity to participate in supporting our team financially, please follow the easy instructions below:

  1. Ben,

Standing on the promises and favor of God our Father to make it happen for you and your bride financially. Hey, it’s His money, anyways. It’s not like His pockets aren’t deep enough.

Blessings and power, in Jesus’ Name!

Favorite quote of the day, as I’ve been sitting on this other post regarding doubt Kim and I are experiencing, I’m definitely keeping this thought in the back of my mind. Thanks Donald.

      • Ben,

Doubt is merely our flesh raging against our spirits. It is simply our fallen nature struggling to reclaim its place in our lives. Honestly: to Hell with our flesh. The LORD rebukes doubt.

God is a good God, Ben. He knows your situation and better yet, He has placed it on your heart. I have full confidence He will bring His will to total completion in you and Kim. He’s awesome like that.

  2. Excited for you Ben. And praying.

  3. Ben, standing with you in this. So exciting.

Where in Venezuela will you be going? I went to Merida (college town) two times in high school on short term missions with my church. Loved it.

    • Barquisimeto, and the home these boys are staying at is apparently an old Villa. I’ll see if I can find some pictures from the people who went last year.

As always, thanks so much Dustin for your prayers.

  4. Wow, this sounds like a great opportunity – and a lot of fun! Praying everything works out for you guys financially and every other way too!
