Just updated the GlobalXConnect site with about 90+ photos of our team doing the high elements course. It was so awesome. You can see some of the “elements” in the slideshow, but nothing can express the sheer danger I thought we were in when Diane slipped and was holding on to me for dear life. You can see it in the 8th photo in the slideshow. I know we were very secure with our “rope claws” but still if she or I would have let go completely she would have literally landed on the cable and probably got hurt. For a split second, I truly believed that her life was in danger… but in no way was that the case. It was just one of those things where it happened so quick, I didn’t really think about “Oh hey, everything’s ok because we’re totally secure.” It was more like, “OHMYGODSHE’SGONNAFALL!!!!”

The next picture shows her back up though, and even after that little adrenaline rush, she STILL chose to go down the zipline. What a trooper!

Anyways, as I said in the other blog, even though this year’s team is small, we’re already pretty close. This trip is going to be amazing.
